In the afternoon we drive through the National Park Gybrandsdalen into the land of Peer Gynt. Henrik Ibsen's ‘Peer Gynt’ is the interesting life story of an outcast outsider, who goes through life with his fantasies, is always on the search for the True Self and only recognises his inability to establish a relationship at the end of his life. Our hotel for the night is located on a hill and offers a fantastic view.

Day 3: Rondablikk - Trondheim

Our hotel is located in the middle of Trondheim on the water.

The trading centre of Kristiansund was founded in 1692 by the Dutchman Jappe Ippes, who is known as the father of dried fish. He became famous for his import of stockfish from the Lofoten which he exported to the whole world. Kristiansund has the safest natural harbour in Norway. We will have our lunch here while you can enjoy the wonderful view! In the afternoon we drive over the landscape route Atlanterhavsvegen - it is a good example of a successful interaction of humans and nature. Seven bridges meander between Holemen and the archipelago directly along the sea. The ride passes through a rich coastal cultural landscape along the rugged Hustadvika coast, which has always been a challenging part of the ocean for sailors. Here the nature decides  We spend the night in the fjord town of Molde, which is surrounded by 222 peaks, also known as the ‘Jazz Metropolis of the North’.

Day 5: Molde - Grotli
Today is all about highlights! Our route leads along the Golden Route, which connects the two valleys Ottadal and Romsdal. It is the most beautiful route of Fiordland! From Sølsnes we take the ferry via Åfarnes to Åndelnes. Here we drive towards the famous Trollstigen. This spectacular road, built in eleven years starting in 1925, has a gradient of up to 12%. Past the Stigfoss waterfall, we come to an altitude of 852 meters, where there is a stunning lookout that is not to be missed. Welcome to the world of trolls and legends! We continue with the ferry from Linge to Eidsdal to the most beautiful fjord in Norway, the Geiranger. We take the Eagle Route down to Geiranger and enjoy a magnificent view over the fjord. In Geiranger we leave the bus and take a boat trip on the Geirangerfjord to see all the magical landscapes from the water. On the boat tour we will pass the famous Seven Sisters and Freier waterfalls. After all these impressions we drive to the Dalsnibba, a summit south of the Geiranger. Finally we drive to our hotel, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet.

Day 6: Grotli - Flåm, ca. 350 km
We start the morning with a visit to the stave church of Lom that was first mentioned in 1270. On the road to the Sognefjord, the mountain landscape shows its wildest side. Thea area around the Hurrungane Mountain shows us a magnificent landscape. As far as Gaupne, the end point of the scenic route, the road runs directly along the beautiful Sognefjord. It goes up to the highest point at 1434 meters which makes it the highest mountain pass in Northern Europe. Winter is tough here with huge amounts of snow. Our journey continues via Skjolden and Gaupne to Kaupanger. If the weather permits, we do not take the Laertaltunnel but the Aurlandfjellet road to Flåm. The journey runs from fjord to fjord over the high mountains. The Stegastein observation deck offers a dizzying view over the fjord landscape.

Day 7: Flåm
Today we take the train to Myrdal and back. The Flåm Railway is one of the most beautiful and impressive railway lines in the world and one of the steepest standard gauge friction tracks in the world.

Day 8: Flåm - Fagernes
From Voss we drive over the Hardangervidda, which runs over northern Europe's largest plateau. Here you can experience not only large plateaus, but also deep, fertile valleys, high mountains, glaciers in the distance, waterfalls and blue-green coloured fjords. On this plateau lives one of the largest wild reindeer tribes in Europe. Vøringsfossen is Norway's most famous waterfall. The water plunges 145 meters deep and offers a fascinating sight. At the top of the plateau we can see an impressive panorama with the Hardangerjøkulen glacier in the background. In the late afternoon we arrive in Fagernes, where we spend the night.

Day 9: Fagernes - Oslo
In the late morning we drive to the Oslo metropolis on the Oslofjord. To get to know Oslo we will start with a city tour. Ski jump Holmekollen offers a wonderful panoramic view of Oslo and the fjord. Close to here is also our hotel, where we will stay for the next two nights.
